About Me

My name is Amy Heflin and I can’t wait to be your teacher! I have been teaching in Manatee County since 2009. This will be my fourth year at Harvey Elementary School and I LOVE being a Harvey Shark!

 

I grew up in Bradenton, where I attended Palma Sola Elementary, King Middle and Manatee High School. I went on to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. Go Bulls!

 

When I’m not teaching, you might find me enjoying a day at the beach with my family, reading a book or strolling the farmer’s market.

 

I am so happy that you are going to be in my class this year!
